Hi there!
This year, I'm proud to be participating in the San Francisco Marathon — not just for the challenge, but for a cause that’s close to my heart: A Better Way.
A Better Way is a local nonprofit that provides critical support to Bay Area children, youth, and families in need. From mental health services and foster care support to parent advocacy and family preservation, they work every day to ensure that every child has a safe, loving, and stable environment to grow and thrive.

A Better Way is a San Francisco Bay Area 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides the highest quality services to children in - or at risk of entering - foster care, and their families, with the goal of establishing loving and lasting relationships.
We provide services free of charge including mental health care for children, foster care/adoption services, parent advocacy and family strengthening, as well as no-fee classes for parents (birth or foster) and professionals in the child welfare field.
Our mission: A Better Way empowers children and families to develop the insights, life skills, and permanent relationships that promote their social, emotional, educational and economic well-being.
